October 31stThroughout the day and throughout the night The whole town is full of fright Jack-o-lanterns line front porch stairs Children stay in haunted houses for dares Candy corn and licorice laces Are given to kids with masked faces Pranks are pulled and candy is eaten The excitement of this night surely can't be beaten Ghosts and gremlins run through the streets Stopping at each house for either tricks or treats Skeletons may be creepy and witches may be mean But my favorite day of the year is Halloween October 31st
